    Default Holidaying Down South.

Again, a belated report, the main reason is that I’m slack.
Well, the Blackfish Family and Dog, with the Maltese Falcon Family and dog, headed down the coast to Pambula Beach, we’ve never Holidayed down there before and our normal place we stay which is at Tathra there was no vacancy’s maybe because of Covid and when people had to book no one was sure what restriction would be in place for travel.
Pambula is a great place with a good Pie shop, Bottle shop, Craft Brewery which unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to visit and a nice estuary.
This is just Estuary, Bread and Butter family fishing and just enjoying being on the water.

Before we arrived, they had had some huge amounts of rain up in the mountains so the water was pretty discolored but it wasn’t to worry us because we were on holidays.
Our firsy mission was to get some bait but unfortunately the beach worms were hard to get but that may have been because of all the rain and big seas.

So next day headed off for a fish a bit further North and got some Nippers

These were easy to get so off fishing.

    Daughter catches a nice Bream

Also, I never did get my AA Shirt back as she still claims it as hers.

I have no idea but she always liked toads, recons they are cute. Very excited when she caught this one

Mum and Daughter just enjoying themselves

    Even I caught a fish.

Just before we pulled up stumps on this day Caity hooks what we believe was a big Eagle Ray which we had seen a few in shallow water previously.
She fought it for nearly half an hour when the line final gave way. It would have been good to see it but she enjoyed the fight

Back at the house we were staying at the dog got given a soft toy and for some reason she though an examination of what was inside would be a good idea. She was so happy with the result.

She Bloody loves going on holidays, we would walk her a couple of times a day and there were plenty of Kangaroos for here to look at.

Pambula River estuary always turned on a few fish, nothing special, just Bread and butter species.

We also got out once and fished for Blue Spot and Tiger flathead in deeper water catching a few.

The weather was average for the time we spent down there but it didn’t really stop us doing anything. Though the dog got very tired, a couple of walks a day and playing with our friend’s dog. She was stuffed at the end of the day,

A few drinks were had at the end of the day.

But for a family holiday it was fantastic.

Just one more thing, is everyone we struck were nice. Living in a big city nice people are harder to find. I guess it’s the relaxed environment.
    Thanks for reading.

    Great trip and report. thanks
Now, I'm not saying we should invoke capital punishment for Stupidity, but how about we just take all the warning labels off everything and let nature sort itself out?
